CrossFit is a broad fitness programme designed to improve all aspects of your fitness including stamina, strength, coordination, power, flexibility, balance and speed.
CrossFit is inclusive. Everyone benefits from improving their fitness, regardless of their age. Everyday life involves picking objects up from the floor, squatting, and lifting things over our heads. We need to do these movements safely, and CrossFit training improves our ability to do this. The load we move will vary in heaviness between individuals, but the need to do it is universal.
CrossFit involves compound movements i.e. involving you moving several joints. It draws on aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, and more. This adds to the enjoyment as well as leading to dramatic gains in fitness.
CrossFit MaxOn is a group of positive and friendly people who enjoy challenging themselves whether it is by doing CrossFit training, running, cycling, hiking, obstacle courses or CrossFit competitions. CrossFit MaxOn members vary in age from teens to seventies. By scaling movements and WODs (workout of the day), classes are suitable for a wide range of fitness levels and abilities. Our membership is 50:50 male/female, which creates a nice feel and balance to our box.
CrossFit MaxOn box is a great open space with top-notch equipment for a wide variety of classes. There is plenty of free parking directly outside the box. On-hand coaching is provided during every class. We are easy to get to, just off the Silk Road, or via the back roads if the Silk Road is busy.
CrossFit MaxOn's philosophy is based on mutual respect and teamwork. We support each other, cheer each other on during WODs, celebrate achievements, and encourage each other to strive for personal excellence inside and outside the box.
